Sony Xperia 5 II: Specifications & Features
This phone still has a distinct design of the entire Xperia lineup in recent years. We will still have a device with a glass back wrapped by a high-quality metal frame. The handset is considered a "compact" version of the Xperia 1 II with some cut downs.
While Xperia 1 II owns a 4K 60Hz screen with a conventional design, the Xperia 5 II is equipped with a 6.1-inch screen, featuring Full HD + resolution, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and of course the tall 21:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 6, which supports HDR BT.2020. In general, the display quality of this phone is as good as the Xperia 1 II, but users will have to settle with a lower resolution for a higher refresh rate.
In the camera department, the handset is equipped with three 12MP cameras, including wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and 3x telephoto units. Sony says that this is the first smartphone capable of recording 120FPS slow-motion videos at 4K resolution and with HDR support.
Sony's new high-end phone is not only great at photography, but it is also a powerful beast with the Snapdragon 865 chip, 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB memory. It has a 4,000mAh battery with 21W fast charging support.
One of the extremely useful features for gamers when playing games is the ability to use electricity directly from the charger instead of using the device's battery. This will help protect the device's battery from constant charging and discharging, as well as lower the device's temperature during game sessions. In addition, the Xperia 5 II still has the traditional 3.5mm headphone port similar to the Xperia 1 II.
