Not long ago, there were some rumors about Sony Xperia 3 - a flagship that is expected to launch in 2020. Today, this phone has just been spotted in the database of benchmarking site Geekbench. Thanks to that, some configuration details of the device have been revealed.

According to the listing, the Xperia 3 will carry the model number of PM-1310. It is listed to ship with Android 10 and has the processing power provided by the newly launched Snapdragon 865 chipset. Its memory configuration is revealed to be 12GB RAM, which is twice as much as its predecessor Xperia 1. However, we believe that it should also come with several variants with less RAM.
With the above configuration, Sony's flagship scored a great score on Geekbench 4.4.2 software. The scores are 4,261 points single-core test and 13,422 points multi-core test. However, it should be noted that Geekbench results may not be completely accurate until official information is available.

In addition, the code name of PM-1310 of Xperia 3 also coincides with the series of code names leaked on Sony's website. According to Sony's website, Xperia 3 will be available in four models, one of which will be the most advanced version with support for the 5G network. Regarding design, experts believe this phone will have a curved back like the Xperia Arc. It was also tipped to carry a Quad-HD+ display on the front.
Previously, there were alleged renders of a Sony smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The renders showed that the handset was packed with as many as six cameras at the back.

The Sony Xperia 3 was suggested to be one of the four flagship devices that Sony is planning to launch next year, but the time frame hasn't been revealed yet.
