Samsung Ranks First Position In Consumer-Focused Brands In India

Samsung, Nike, Hero MotoCorp, Apple, and Tata Motors are named in the Top 5 consumer-centric brands in India, according to a TRA study named “India’s Most Consumer-Focused Brands 2019”. The study measures the brands on the development in BPI (Buying Propensity Index) in 2018. As a result, Samsung went up 8 ranks to hold the No.1 position on this year list.
Samsung has control over this country’s market by showing the determined supremacy via entire consumer-centric strategy, thereby dominating their perception, and mind, according to TRA. Besides, the next positions respectively belong to Vivo, Bajaj PulsarLife Insurance Corporation, HDFC Bank, and LG. Referring to the category, Tata Motors held the no.1 rank in the automobile manufacturer category, meanwhile, Eicher secured the top position in the commercial vehicle category. There were also seven new entrants from India in this year list of top 20.
Additionally, Budweiser was honored as the most consumer-centric brand in the alcoholic beverage category. The first position in the apparel-menswear belonged to Otto based in Chennai. It is known that “India’s Most Consumer-Focused Brands 2019” is the list of those brands which have succeeded in improving their BPI in two consecutive years. Only 500 brands out of 11,000 studied brands could increase their BPI last year. In addition, Samsung has recently launched another Galaxy A smartphone, called the Galaxy A70.
As for the Samsung Galaxy A70, the device sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is larger than that of the Galaxy S10 series. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Exynos octa-core chipset paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD slot. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup including a 32MP f/1.7 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the handset comes with a 32MP selfie camera.
