According to reports, Samsung may have finalized on what Galaxy S10 will look like. It is likely that the phone’s selfie camera will lie in a hole in the corner, which is called the Infinity-O. We know Samsung has patented this design, but it was not until now that actual photos of the display come up.
As you can see in these photos, Samsung has put the front camera on the top left corner of the phone screen, exactly like the drawings in the company’s patent. However, there’s no telling how thin will the bezel around the selfie camera will be, probably no bezel at all.
The company hasn’t decided on where to position the sensors and earpiece. Perhaps, some may be put under the screen, like the fingerprint scanner.
The leaked photos may not show the full design as they were heavily pixelated.
Well, there’re still days to wait before the Galaxy S10 is officially launched. So in the meantime, let’s sit back and scan through the phone’s expected specs.
The upcoming Galaxy S10 will come with a 6.0-inch screen, which has a resolution of 1440 x 2960. Its operating system will be Android Pie (9.0). The phone will run on Octa core (2.7GHz, Quad core, M2 Mongoose + 1.7GHz, Quad core, Cortex A5.3) chip with a RAM of 6GB. Probably, the phone will pack a 3500mAh battery.
The Galaxy S10 is expected to have 12MP camera, along with Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Barometer, and Light sensor. It will also come with a fingerprint sensor. Plus, with the S10, Samsung will provide Mali-G72 MP18 GPU, which promises a graphical performance for the smooth game running. In terms of internal storage, the upcoming Samsung’s handset will offer 64GB, with support up to 400GB external storage.
According to sources, the launch date is likely to be early 2019, perhaps at CES 2019 that will take place from January 8-11.
