Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Pre-Order Went Live In India; Sold Out In Minutes

Samsung India announced pre-order for the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip for the Indian market on 21 February. In just minutes, all units of the device were quickly sold out.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip price is Rs. 1,09,999 in the country and it was up for pre-ordering via the brand’s official website and several retail stores across India. Samsung did not reveal the exact number of units of the Galaxy Z Flip that were sold, but it confirmed that it will re-open the pre-orderings soon.
If you are among users who managed to pre-order the device on 21 February, Samsung India will start delivering them from 26 February. The company is tipped to re-open pre-bookings from 28 February, but that is only a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Specifications
The handset sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 21.5:9 aspect ratio, and Infinity-O design. At the top center of the display, there is a punch-hole that accommodates a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls. At the top of the back panel, the device is equipped with a 1.06-inch secondary display to show notifications, time, date, and more.
Powering the device is a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset along with Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It boots Android 10 at launch with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 on top. For photography, there are a total of three cameras on the device. The 12MP main sensor and 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera are placed at the back while the 10MP selfie shooter is placed in the punch-hole. For security, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Under the hood, the whole thing is fueled by a 3,300 mAh battery that can be refilled with 15W fast charging technology.
