Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S20 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event held on February 11. Many reports have also revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip may also make its appearance at the event. Now, the website Winfuture.de has shared information about the full specifications, price, and series of official renders of the Galaxy Z Flip, thereby giving us a clearer view of the phone ahead of its official launch.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Specifications
The Galaxy Z Flip, codenamed Galaxy Bloom, has dimensions of 87.4 x 73.6 x 17.3mm when folded and 167.9 x 73.6 x 7.2mm when fully opened. The device weighs 183 grams and has a back surface protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 6.

The screen of the Galaxy Z Flip is 6.7 inches in size. It uses a Super AMOLED panel with an Infinity-O punch design and supports Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2636 pixels) and a 22:9 aspect ratio. The hinge is placed in the middle of the screen and horizontally, allowing users to open the device more easily at 70 to 110 degrees.
This will be the first foldable smartphone to feature a new type of glass covering the display called Ultra-Thin Glass, replacing the plastic one used on the Galaxy Fold. This will help the phone more durable than its predecessor and limit scratches during use.

When folded, users can see the dual-camera system and a small screen on the back. This is an S-AMOLED screen with a size of 1.06 inches, a resolution of 300 x 116 pixels and supports Always On Display mode. Through it, users can view time, notification and battery status. In addition, it also acts as a viewfinder when using the rear camera for selfies.

Its rear camera setup includes a 12MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f / 2.2 lens and a 123-degree viewing angle. This camera cluster supports LED flash, dual pixel autofocus, OIS, and 4K video recording at 60fps. Meanwhile, the selfie camera placed in the punch-hole on the front has a resolution of 10MP with f / 2.0 aperture, autofocus, voice control and 4K video recording at 30fps.
Inside, the device is powered by a 7nm Snapdragon 855+ processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal memory. It comes with a 3,300mAh battery, supporting fast charging with 15W and 9W wireless charging.

The phone comes pre-loaded with Android 10 with Samsung's familiar One UI interface out of the box. It is equipped with a fingerprint sensor for security and also supports face unlock, AKG stereo technology and Dolby Atmos. The connectivity features available on the device include VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C but the lack of microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5G connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Price & Availability
The new report says that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will be sold in Europe from February 14 with the expensive price of up to €1,500 (around Rs. 1,17,800). It will be available in two color options for users to choose, including Purple and Black.
