Samsung is preparing its new software update. It is expected to roll out in October with an Android security patch. The update claims to make things even better, particularly the camera. With the intention of improving the image quality of the picture taken, it promises to bring the best camera experience. The update is currently being rolled out in Germany, and other regions are expected to follow suit soon.
It is expected that Samsung’s latest S series flagship devices Galaxy S9/S9 plus will be one of the first Samsung devices to get the latest Android Pie update.
With the new feature, you will see improved performance on the front camera and you're going to get better pictures with your front camera on the galaxy s9 and S9 plus. Moreover, the brightness of faces and backlit conditions will also be improved.
The changelog for the update is expected to add AI-enable scene detection camera feature. There's no major difference between the camera The The Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 plus. The Galaxy S9 features a 12MP with a super speed dual pixel with both an f1.5 and f2.4 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), while the front-facing camera, coming in at 8MP. Besides, the S9 plus packs a 12MP primary camera on the rear and an 8MP front camera for selfies. This smartphone also comes with both a wide-angle lens and the telephoto lens and it has optical image stabilization in both lenses.
The Korean tech giant has brought its own brand of special emoji to the new handsets. Recently, Samsung released a firmware update with some new camera function that has been added such as the AI emoji and super slo-mo which is actually inherited from the S9, S9 plus and Note 9. Samsung had rolled out these new features for its older flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+.
