However, with the launch of the S20 lineup, Samsung has also reduced prices for the Galaxy S10 line up, with the standard S10 nor priced at Rs 53,680, the S10e now priced at Rs 42,945.

But before rushing to the store and get the more affordable S10 phone that you want, consider these four reasons why the Galaxy S20 is a better choice overall.

First and foremost, of course, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is better in terms of specifications.

Samsung’s latest offer has the latest, most powerful processors and specs, which is perfect for those who want to catch up with the latest mobile tech. it’s powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, the top processor for the highest-end Android smartphones this year. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, top for last year.

Though it’s not always easy to spot the difference in performance between the two chips, even the lightest superior counts, especially when you run multiple or heavy tasks on your device all day.

The Galaxy S20 has a better screen with the 120Hz refresh rate.

If you think a high refresh rate is not that necessary, you have definitely never experienced one. The 120Hz rate on the Samsung Galaxy S20 means smoother animations as you swipe around apps, and it’s even better when you use games and videos supporting this refresh rate. It brings you great performance and an impression of luxury.

The cameras are updated and better.

The Galaxy S20’s cameras have new, bigger sensors that a lot more megapixels. According to Samsung, the new camera system will generate sharper, clearer photos along with better low-light shots.

The S20 sports a 64MP lens, helping the phone achieve 3X optical zoom as well as 30X digital and optical zoom. Its regular and ultra-wide 12MP lenses also have 28% larger pixels than the S10, meaning better pictures in a low-light environment.

The Galaxy S20 is 5G-enabled, but this feature may not matter much for now.

This is among the biggest upgrade from the Galaxy S10. 5G connectivity allows for much higher speeds for internet browsing, cloud gaming, video calling, and video streaming. However, right now, only a few places in the world have got 5G networks and the quality and connectivity are not equally good. All in all, it will take another while until we can use 5G as easily and commonly as we use 4G these days.
