Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Price Leaked; Starts From Rs. 60,500

Information about the design, hardware configuration and price of the Galaxy S20 series has been leaked nearly in full just before the official launch date.

Recent leaks and reports have revealed quite a lot of information about the Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup and the Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphone that Samsung is expected to launch on February 11. Reportedly, this year's Galaxy S series will include Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. While the S20 and S20 + have both 4G and 5G variants, the S20 Ultra will have only one variant that supports 5G networks.
Samsung Galaxy S20 series: Price
Recently, the famous leakster Max Weinbach has suddenly revealed information about the price of the Galaxy S20 series and the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone. Specifically, he said that the Galaxy S20 will cost between 900 and 1,000 Euro (equivalent to Rs. 71,000 to 79,000).
Galaxy S20 + can be sold for prices from 1050 Euro to 1100 Euro (around Rs. 82,800 - 86,800). Meanwhile, Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will cost 1300 Euro (around Rs. 1,02,600). Compared to the 5G version, the price of 4G LTE version will be about 100 Euro cheaper (around Rs. 7,900). However, in countries where 5G network infrastructure is available, Samsung may only sell the 5G variant.
The price of the Galaxy S20 in the US will be lower than the European market price. As predicted by Max Weinbach, the starting price for the 5G variants of Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra will be $850 (around Rs 60,500), $950 (around Rs. 67,600) and $1200 (around Rs. 85,400).
As for the Galaxy Z Flip, this foldable smartphone can cost around €1400 (around Rs. 1,10,400). However, Max Weinbach also said that the actual selling price of these products may be slightly lower than these prices.
Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra: Specifications
According to the report, the Galaxy S20 will have a 6.2-inch screen, the S20 + will have a 6.7-inch screen, and the higher-end S20 Utra will feature a 6.9-inch display. They will all feature the Infinity-O design, support up to Quad-HD + resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and 120Hz refresh rate. These phones will have different variants using the Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 chipsets, depending on the markets.
The S20 will have a 4,000mAh battery, the S20 + will have a larger 4500mAh battery and the S20 Ultra version will carry a massive 5,000mAh battery. All devices in this year's Galaxy S series will be pre-installed with One UI 2.0 interface based on Android 10 out of the box, with IP68 water and dust resistance.
In terms of imaging capabilities, the Galaxy S20 is expected to be equipped with three rear cameras, including a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor and an ultra-wide 12MP sensor. Meanwhile, the S20 + will have three rear cameras like the standard S20 but added the ToF sensor.
The most advanced version is the S20 Ultra which will have a 108MP main camera + 48MP telephoto lens + 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera + and a ToF 3D camera at the back. Meanwhile, the S20 and S20 + may have a 10MP selfie camera whereas the S20 Ultra will most likely come with a 40MP camera on the front.
Galaxy Z Flip: Specifications
Galaxy Z Flip is tipped to be equipped with a foldable 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with the Infinity-O design. It uses the Snapdragon 855 processor, combined with a 3,300mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. The phone has a dual camera with a 12MP main sensor on the back, while the selfie camera on the front has a 10MP resolution. In addition, it is also equipped with a 1-inch secondary screen on the back to display time and notifications.
