The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a nearly the same set of specs as the Galaxy S20 for a much more affordable price tag.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE finally comes to India after its first debut in late last month. The device comes with a high-end set of specs for a more affordable price than the Galaxy S20. It features a 120Hz Super AMOLED panel, triple rear cameras, 4,500 mAh battery, and Exynos 990 SoC. The S20 FE should be Samsung’s answer to the OnePlus 8T, which is set to launch in India next week.

The Galaxy S20 FE price in India is set at Rs. 49,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. You can start pre-order the phone from October 9 or you can wait for the sales starting from October 16. Samsung offers E-store benefits worth Rs. 4,000 as well as an upgrade bonus (Rs. 3,000) and Rs. 4,000 HDFC cashback for pre-order customers.

The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. Powering the phone is an Exynos 990 (4G LTE version), accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable). It ships with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 to take care of the software side of things and an under-display fingerprint reader for biometrics security.

For photography, it gets a triple-camera lens system on the rear, including a 12MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angel camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x Super-resolution zoom. On the front, Samsung packs a 32MP shooter inside the punch-hole cut-out for picturing selfies and video calls. Finally, the device is fueled by a 4,500 mAh battery (15W fast charging) and IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
