The Samsung Galaxy M40 recently made its debut in the Indian market as the latest addition to the new Galaxy M series. However, it has only been up for sale through flash sales via the company’s online store and Amazon India. However, buyers can now purchase the phone whenever they want. If you haven’t been lucky with the flash sales, here is the chance for you to grab one. The highlights of the Galaxy M40 include 6.3-inch FHD+ hole-punch display and ‘Screen SoundCasting’ tech that is said to turn the entire display into an earpiece.
Samsung Galaxy M40: Price
The Galaxy M40 comes in a sole variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for a price of Rs. 19,990. Samsung offers two color options for the handset, which are Seawater Blue and Midnight Blue. Launch offers include 100 percent additional data on the Rs. 249 and Rs. 349 recharges for Airtel users. Jio customers can also get double data on the Rs. 198 and Rs. 299 recharge for ten months.
Samsung Galaxy M40: Specifications & Features
The latest Galaxy M smartphone comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity-O display with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 675 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM / 128GB storage that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 512GB. For software, it boots the company’s One UI, which is based on Android 9 Pie.
In terms of camera, it sports a triple camera setup at the back, comprising of a 32MP main sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 123-degree field of view, and a 5MP depth unit. Up front, it is equipped with a 16MP shooter for taking selfies and video calling. Security-wise, it features a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Finally, it is fueled by a 3,500 mAh battery with 15W fast charging solution.
