Aside from the 64MP quad rear cameras and 6,000 mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy M31 is also revealed to pack 32MP selfie camera & up to 8GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy M31 will be officially announced in India on 25 February. There have been a few specs of the Galaxy M31 revealed via teasers on Amazon.in. They include 64MP quad rear cameras and a whopping 6,000 mAh battery. Now, a new report by PriceBaba & Ishan Agarwal has given us more details about the handset such as RAM options, full details of the quad rear cameras, and selfie camera.

According to the report, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M31 will sport a 32MP camera with an f/2.0 lens on the front for selfies and video calls. In comparison, its predecessor Galaxy M30s only has a 16MP selfie shooter. The handset will be available in two memory configurations - 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is also improved compared to the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants of the M30s.

For optics, its quad rear camera setup is said to comprise a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 lens, a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5MP camera with an f/2.4 lens. We can’t confirm which types of the camera the two 5MP units are, but the Galaxy M30s has a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP wide-angle camera.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is also said to support 15W fast charging solution. It could be quite decent for most of the low-end smartphones, but since the handset has a massive 6,000 mAh battery, it is still somewhat underwhelming. On the front, it is confirmed to flaunt a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a U-shaped notch at the top while it could be powered by an Exynos 9611 SoC at the helm. Other features include headphone jack, USB-C port, and Android 10-based One UI 2.0.
