Samsung is expected to release several smartphones in the Galaxy M series in the coming months. Now, the Samsung Galaxy M21 has just passed through Geekbench with the model number Samsung SM-M215F and the listing gives us key information about the phone. It seems like the Galaxy M21 will come with a significantly more powerful chipset compared to its predecessor Galaxy M20 launched way back in February last year.

According to the listing, the Galaxy M21 (Samsung SM-M215F) will feature an Exynos 9611 chipset with a base clock speed of 1.74GHz. Paired with the chipset is 4GB of RAM, but it could be available in one or more RAM variants. In comparison, the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 were powered by an Exynos 7904 SoC. Therefore, there is a chance that the Galaxy M31 will also pack an Exynos 9611 chipset as well.
Thanks to the Exynos 9611 SoC and 4GB RAM, the handset scores 348 points on the single-core test and 1,265 points in the multi-core test. As for the launch date, its predecessor Galaxy M20 was released on 5 February last year, so there is a good chance that Samsung will release the Galaxy M21 in early February.
Samsung Galaxy M21: Rumored Specifications
For now, there aren’t a lot of details about the Samsung Galaxy M21. It is tipped to feature a dual-camera setup at the back, just like its predecessor. However, instead of having a 13MP main sensor a 5MP depth-sensing camera, the M21’s rear camera setup will include a 24MP primary camera and a 5MP depth sensor.

As per a recent report by Sammobile, the upcoming Galaxy M21 will be available in two storage models - 64GB and 128GB, which is a significant improvement over the M20 with 32GB and 64GB of storage models. As for software, it could ship with Android 10 to take care of the software side of things. If our speculation about its launch date is accurate, there should be more information about the Samsung Galaxy M21 surfacing online in the near future.
