Samsung Galaxy M21 might be coming to India very soon, according to (IANS) report citing industry sources. The handset launch date was tipped to be 16th March. Now, a new teaser poster has surfaced online, thanks to 91mobiles, confirming that the handset will be introduced in the country on 16 March. The poster also shows the front design of the phone, which is quite similar to recently-released smartphones on the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series.
From the poster, we have learnt that the handset will have pretty thin bezels on the front, except for the relatively sizeable chin at the bottom. It seems like there will still be a power button and volume rocker at the right spine of the phone, just like its predecessor Galaxy M20s. However, it will have a U-shaped notch instead of the V-shaped one like the M20s.
Samsung Galaxy M21: Specs & Features
The Samsung Galaxy M21 was tipped to come with similar specs as the Galaxy M30s. That means the device could sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and carry the power from an Exynos 9611 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Android 10-based One UI 2.0 is also expected on this phone.
In terms of camera, it should rock a triple camera cluster at the back, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree viewing angle, and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, we might see a 16MP shooter housed on the U-shaped notch for selfies. Other expected features include dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, rear-mounted fingerprint reader, 6,000mAh battery, USB-C port, and dual 4G VoLTE.
