Samsung Galaxy M21 will be officially launched in India on 16th March as a successor to the Galaxy M20 & Galaxy M20s. Recently, the handset’s front was revealed via a leaked poster and now it has been listed on the e-commerce giant Amazon.in. Apart from confirming its availability on Amazon, the listing also reveals the key Galaxy M21 specifications, including Super AMOLED display, 48MP triple rear cameras, and 6,000 mAh battery.
Previously, the handset was tipped to have similar specs to last year’s Galaxy M30s. On the front, it will feature a 20MP shooter for video calls and selfies while there will be a fingerprint reader on its back for security. As for Galaxy M21 availability in India, it is said to go up for sales via multiple retail stores across the country.
Samsung Galaxy M21: Specifications
The handset might sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with U-shaped notch and FHD+ resolution. It will reportedly draw processing power from a Samsung’s Exynos 9611 octa-core chipset, aided by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (might be expandable using a microSD card). As mentioned, the Amazon listing confirms that the handset will pack a mammoth 6,000 mAh battery, but it doesn’t say whether it will support 15W fast charging standard like the Galaxy M30s. To take care of the software side of things, it should be pre-installed with Android 10-based One UI 2.0.
In terms of camera, it could have a total of three cameras at the back. The main camera is revealed to be a 48MP sensor while the other two units might be a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree viewing angle. For selfies, it will likely sport a 20MP shooter for selfie shots. Other key features could include rear-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS / GLONASS, USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual 4G VoLTE.
