Samsung Galaxy M11: Price in India, Review, Specifications - Everything You Need

There has been a lot of news about the Galaxy M21 while the Galaxy M31 has been announced in India recently. Now, a new affordable smartphone in the Galaxy M series has popped up on the Google Play console database, which reveals its specs. The handset is called Samsung Galaxy M11 and it is likely the successor to the Galaxy M10s and priced at below Rs. 10,000 in India. According to the Google Console listing, it will have entry-level Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB RAM, and HD+ display. In addition, it might also be the most affordable smartphone that sports a punch-hole screen.

The Google Console listing reveals that the upcoming Galaxy M11 will come with an Infinity-O panel of HD+ resolution and a small punch-hole at the upper right corner for a single selfie camera. It is listed to carry a snapdragon 450 SoC, which is the same chipset used on the Galaxy A20s. 3GB is the amount of RAM of the Galaxy M11, but it could be available in at least one more RAM variant. To take care of the software side of things, it will be pre-installed with Android 10 out of the box, possibly with One UI 2.0 on top.

In addition to the specs, the listing also has a photo of the Galaxy M11 on the front. If you look closely, you can see that the handset will have a volume rocker and power button on its right spine. Thanks to the punch-hole design, it has relatively thin bezels on the sides, except for the sizeable chin at the bottom. These are all the details we have at the moment. For now, the brand hasn’t had any official word about the Galaxy M11 launch but it was certified by Wi-Fi Alliance several months ago.

You can also check out the Samsung Galaxy M21 while waiting for the Galaxy M11. It is slated to make its debut in India on 16th March, which is only two days from now. It was officially confirmed to feature an AMOLED display with a water-drop notch and a mammoth 6,000 mAh battery.

Amid the Covid-19 outbreak, Samsung announces a new addition to the Galaxy M series, called Samsung Galaxy M11. It is the third offering in the series launched this year besides Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M31. The highlights of this phone include a 6.4-inch punch-hole display, triple rear cameras, and 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging technology.

The handset will come in three color variants, including Purple, Blue, and Black. The company is yet to reveal the availability or pricing of this phone. However, it has been listed on Samsung UAE’s official website, so we should get details on its pricing soon.

The back panel of the phone is made of polycarbonate and is available in three colorways, Black, Blue, and Purple. On the front, it sports a 6.4-inch LCD panel with Infinity-O design and HD+ resolution. For selfies, there is a single 8MP camera on the front with an f/2.0 lens, housed inside a punch-hole at the top left corner of the screen.

Around the back, the device is equipped with three cameras, including a 13MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.0 lens and a 115-degree field of view; and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. Camera features include Full-HD video recording at 30fps, Live Focus, and more.

As for the processor, the Galaxy M11 listing on the Samsung UAE website doesn’t reveal the name of the chipset. It only says that the handset is driven by an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone is offered in two variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. And you can expand the internal storage with a microSD card. Under the hood, it gets a massive 5,000 mAh battery that gets 15W fast charging support, which is not too bad for an entry-level smartphone.
