Samsung Galaxy M02s is the new offering that Samsung has just announced in India. The handset is in the budget segment, featuring triple rear cameras, 15W fast charging, and a 6.5-inch water-drop notch display. It will most likely take on the Redmi 9 Prime, POCO C3, Realme Narzo 20A, and other budget smartphones in the sub-Rs. 10,000 price point. Other key specs of the Galaxy M02s include a Snapdragon 450 chipset, 64GB storage, Android 10, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M02s: Price in India & Availability
The Galaxy M02s is priced at Rs. 8,999 for the entry-level model with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, meanwhile, is retailed at Rs. 9,999. You can get the phone in Blue, Black, or Red color variants via Amazon. For now, Samsung hasn’t revealed the exact sale date for this phone.
Samsung Galaxy M02s: Specifications & Features
The device packs a 6.5” Infinity-V display with HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch at the top. Being a budget smartphone, it is expected that the Galaxy M02s has a sizeable bezel at the bottom. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 450 SoC, aided by 3/4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card up to 512GB). Connectivity features of this phone include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, headphone jack, USB-C port, and 4G LTE.

Around the back of this phone, Samsung goes for a triple-camera lens setup that includes a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP lens for macro shots. On the front, it is equipped with a 5MP camera for picturing selfies and video calls. Sadly, this phone doesn’t have a fingerprint reader or support the Face Unlock feature, so you will have to use the traditional pin / pattern authentication. The device boots Android 10 out of the box along with Samsung’s One UI running on top. Finally, it is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at 15W.
