Nearly five months after releasing the Galaxy M01, Samsung appears to be working on its successor, the Galaxy M02, as the handset has just popped up on Geekbench. The M01’s successor is listed on Geekbench with model number SM-M025F, which has already been spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and several other sites. The Geekbench listing gives us a few details about the Samsung Galaxy M02 specs, including RAM, operating system, and chipset. With this setup, we expect the handset to be priced the same or a bit higher than its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy M02 will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset, based on the description, should be the Snapdragon 450 chipset. The handset will pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but there might be several more memory configurations. On the software side of things, it will run on Android 10, likely with Samsung’s One UI running on top. That is all we can get from the Geekbench listing. Since the handset has visited multiple certicification bodies already, it should be launching soon.
Going by the specifications listed on Geekbench, the device should be a great upgrad over the M01 and arrive in India for around Rs. 10,000. To recall, the Galaxy M10, priced at Rs. 8,999, comes with a Snapdragon 439 SoC, aided by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It rocks a 5.71-inch display with HD+ resolution, a dual camera setup (13MP + 2MP) on the rear, and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Under the hood, it gets a 4,000 mAh battery with no fast charging support.
