Samsung Galaxy F62 To Arrive This Month, Specifications & Price in India Tipped

The second smartphone in the Galaxy F-series in India could be called Samsung Galaxy F62.

Samsung will reportedly release a new mid-range smartphone in India sometime this month, dubbed Samsung Galaxy F62. Recently, tipster Mukul Sharma suggested that this phone could be priced below Rs. 25,000 and hinted at the chipset that will be powering it. Now, tipster Ishan Agarwal has brought more details about the upcoming Galaxy F62.

According to the tipster, the upcoming Galaxy F-series smartphone for the Indian market will be dubbed Samsung Galaxy F62. If that news is to be believed, this will be the second phone in the series after the Galaxy F42, which was released in 2020. To recall, the key Galaxy F41 specs include a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, an Exynos 9611 SoC, 64MP quad rear cameras, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications will reportedly include a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. There is no mention of fast charging support or of the processor for this phone. The handset reportedly passed through Geekbench a couple of times, featuring Samsung’s Exynos 9825 SoC. The Galaxy F62 will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and run on Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.

On the front, it will get a 32MP camera for selfies while its back is tipped to feature a quad-camera lens system led by a 64MP main sensor inside a square-shaped housing. Sadly, we have no information about the other three units on the setup.

If the rumor is to be believed, Samsung should start teasing the Galaxy F62 India launch soon.
