The leaks and renders of a Samsung phone believed to be the Galaxy A90 were spotted online for a long time. But the phone ended up being unveiled as the Galaxy A80. Then, some news sources said the Galaxy A90 is a different handset.

However, recently, according to a famous tipster, the Galaxy A90 will not be unveiled with this name. The tipster states there is no “A90” but a Galaxy R series phone. Samsung seems to actually forgo the name. Apparently, this phone maker plans to introduce its all-new smartphone series called Galaxy R. And the device with SM-A90x model number, which can be known as the Galaxy A90, will become the first smartphone in the R series to hit the market.
The new R series will then have another phone. Both devices will feature a triple rear camera module on the back and a big screen. In addition, a smartphone will support 5G connectivity while the other phone will come with “a very unique camera feature”. So far, there has been no more information about the devices, so we need to wait for more information later.
According to a separate report, the Samsung Galaxy A90 will support the 45W quick charging tech, which almost doubles the wattage of Samsung’s current fastest charging solution (25W fast charging). Interestingly, the charging tech on the Galaxy A90 is also 3X the wattage of the Galaxy S10 series (but the 5G variant) and all Samsung's previous flagships from the past few years. If this comes true, it is really a leap. In addition, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro should get the 45W fast charging solution as well, so Samsung will have a top-end smartphone featuring the technology in 2019.
