Samsung Galaxy A8s Goes Up For Pre-Order, Price Revealed

The Samsung Galaxy A8s, which is the first phone to have the new Infinity-O display goes up for pre-order and its price is also revealed.
Samsung has revealed the price of its Samsung Galaxy A8s in the Chinese market. The device will be the first smartphone of Samsung to have the new Infinity-O display with a distinctive “hole-punch” design for its front camera. Consumers can now purchase it in the online store of Samsung in China and JD.com. Its 6GB of RAM model has also been available for pre-ordering.
Samsung Galaxy A8s: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A8s will run Android 8.1 Orea and sport a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ screen with 2,340 x 1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC along with Adreno 616 GPU and 6 or 8GB RAM/128GB expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD slot.
In the camera department, the Samsung device will come with a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 24MP f1.7 sensor, a 10MP f2.4 telephoto sensor with support for 2x optical zoom, and a 5MP f2.2 depth sensor. There will be a fingerprint scanner on the back as well. On the front, there will be a 24MP f2.0 selfie camera.
The Galaxy A8s’ connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C port, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS and NFC. Finally, the phone will be backed by a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging capability and dimensions of 158.4x74.9x7.4mm.
Samsung Galaxy A8s: Price
Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy A8s in the Chinese market in early December, and the device comes in three colour options, Silver, Black (Green) and Blue.
Samsung offers the Galaxy A8s variant with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage for a price of 2,999 CNY (around RS. 30,600) in the Chinese market, and that is the only available option at the moment. Samsung has yet released its 8GB of RAM option. You can now pre-order the device at JD.com and Samsung’ online store. The Korean company will start shipping the pre-order devices along with offering it in the offline market from 31 December.
