Now, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has been listed on the TENAA database, which suggests that its launch could be quite close. The TENAA listing reveals quite a lot of details on the phone’s specifications such as cameras, battery, and chipset.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G: Specifications & Features
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is listed with Samsung’s Exynos 980 5G SoC, aided by 8GB RAM. The internal storage of this phone hasn’t been revealed yet, but it is confirmed to support microSD card for external storage. It will pack a 4,370 mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the 4,000 mAh unit on the standard Galaxy A51. It also supports faster 25W charging technology compared to the 15W standard on the A51. The handset will measure 8.1 mm in thickness and weigh 185g.
Moving to the camera details, the listing reveals that the phone will have a quad-camera lens setup, including a 64MP main camera. The other three units a 12MP sensor and two 5MP units. While the listing doesn’t specify the function of the three modules, but we expect them to be depth-sensing, macro, and ultra-wide-angle cameras. That means the A51 5G will be upgraded in the main rear camera over the standard model. On the front, it will have the same 32MP selfie camera.
Sadly, the display type and size of the Galaxy A51 5G are not revealed on the listing, but we believe it should be a Super AMOLED panel. Other key features of this phone include USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, headphone jack, and 5G connectivity.
