Samsung Galaxy A31 Launched With Massive Upgrades Over Galaxy A30

Samsung Galaxy A31 is a new addition to the Galaxy A series 2020 with massive upgrades over its predecessor Galaxy A30.

Nearly a week after unveiling the Galaxy A41, Samsung now introduces the Samsung Galaxy A31 to its revamped Galaxy A series. Compared to the Galaxy M31, the A31’s body is a bit more compact thanks to the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a tall aspect ratio. In addition, it gets the more advanced under-display fingerprint sensor instead of a rear-mounted unit.

Samsung Galaxy A31: Price & Availability
The handset will come in Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush Black. The company hasn’t revealed the Samsung Galaxy A31 price and availability of this phone, but it will be released soon.

To recall, the Galaxy M31 was announced at a price of Rs. 14,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The device comes with a 64MP quad-rear camera setup, a larger 6,000 mAh battery, 32MP selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy A31: Specifications & Features
As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy A31 specs include a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ resolution, and a U-shaped notch at the top to accommodate a 20MP selfie shooter. Samsung doesn’t reveal the exact identity of the chipset, but previous benchmark scores hinted at the Helio P65 SoC. The device will be available in two memory configurations - 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. You can add more storage on this phone up to 512GB with a microSD card.

Around the back, it rocks a total of four cameras while the Galaxy A41 only comes with 48MP triple rear cameras. Its rear cameras include a 48MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 123-degree viewing angle, a 5MP depth-sensing camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Finally, it packs a beefy 5,000 mAh battery that charges through a 15W fast charger over a USB Type-C port.
