Samsung Galaxy A21: Price In India, Review, Specifications - All You Need

Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A71 are the first two smartphones in the Galaxy A 2020 series and they were released at the end of last year. Now, it seems like multiple Galaxy A smartphones are in the works such as Galaxy A41, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A21, and Galaxy A11. The specs and CAD renders of the Galaxy A11 have recently been surfaced online. We have also just seen the CAD renders of the Galaxy A41 a few days ago. Now, a new report by Android Headlines has given us the key specifications and leaked press render of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A21.

On the Galaxy A21 press render, you can easily see that there is a punch-hole placed at the upper left corner of the display. It is quite surprising to me since the more-premium Galaxy A41 was shown in recent renders featuring a water-drop notch display, which has been available in high-end smartphones only. Therefore, it is quite confused seeing the Galaxy A21 carry a punch-hole display while Samsung still sticks with the water-drop notch design on the Galaxy A41. However, the bezels of the Galaxy A21 are significantly thicker than that of the Galaxy A41, especially the top and bottom bezels.

Around the back, it gets a quad-camera cluster stacked vertically in the top left corner, one up from the triple rear cameras of the Galaxy A41. Sadly, the camera details are still unknown at the moment. There is a fingerprint reader mounted at the back of the phone for biometric security. 

On the right side, there are a volume rocker and a power button. We can’t see the bottom edge of this phone, but we expect to see a USB Type-C port just like its predecessor Galaxy A20. In addition, it could feature a headphone jack next to the USB-C port. Other rumored specs of the phone include Exynos 7904 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 4,000 mAh battery. Finally, the report also suggests that the Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A21 might launch soon.

Samsung Galaxy A21 is one of the few smartphones in the Galaxy A series Samsung has recently revealed. Other phones are the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A71 5G, and Galaxy A11. You can tell by its name that the phone will be placed in the budget segment along with the Galaxy A11. It arrives as a successor to the Galaxy A20s that launched last year. The handset features a better camera setup, a punch-hole display, and a beefy battery with fast charging support

The Samsung Galaxy A21 price is $249 (around Rs. 19,000). The South Korean phone maker will release the phone in the US this summer. Sadly, there is no information regarding the Galaxy A21 launch date in India, but it could come to India soon with a more affordable price (ranging from Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 14,000 just like its predecessor).

The handset is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a punch-hole at the top left corner for a selfie shooter. The handset is available in a single memory configuration with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Sadly, the company hasn’t revealed which chipset it uses inside the Galaxy A21. Even though it only has 32GB storage, you can expand it much further using a microSD card (up to 512GB). Under the hood, it packs the same 4,000 mAh battery, that supports the same 15W fast charging technology.

In terms of camera, it has one more camera at the back over the Galaxy A20s. The quad-camera cluster consists of a 16MP primary camera, a 2MP dedicated macro camera, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, there is a 13MP camera for video chats and selfies. Other key features include a fingerprint reader mounted at the back and Android 10 pre-installed with the One UI 2.0 running on top.
