Samsung Galaxy A12 India launch could be just around the corner, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. In a recent tweet, the tipster only says that there is a Galaxy A smartphone on the way but the 12-second timer shown on the video might be a hint at the Galaxy A12. In addition, the specifications he said on the video also match those of the Galaxy A12. He further revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India will be below Rs. 15,000. To recall, the device was first released in November last year alongside the Samsung Galaxy A02s.
Samsung Galaxy A12: Price in India (expected)
To recall, the Galaxy A12 was initially priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 15,700) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option and EUR 199 (roughly Rs. 17,500) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The device will likely be available in Red, White, Blue, and Black color variants.
Samsung Galaxy A12: Specifications & Features
Starting with the Galaxy A12, this is considered the successor of the Galaxy A11 that Samsung introduced in March, bringing some significant improvements in the camera and battery capacity. The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery, larger than the 4000mAh battery of the A11, and also supports 15W fast charging.
At the back, the Galaxy A11 has 3 cameras on the back, which are a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Although the wide-angle and depth camera remains the same, on the Galaxy A12, the 13MP main sensor has been replaced by a 48MP camera and a 2MP macro camera is added, bringing the total number of rear cameras to 4.
The phone comes with a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen, supports HD + resolution and has an 8MP selfie camera. On the inside, it packs in the hardware power from a MediaTek's Helio P35 processor, paired with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage, expandable with a microSD card (up to 1TB).
