While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy A90 are still under wraps, Samsung is also reportedly working on a budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy A10s. The forthcoming budget phone has been on the Internet for quite a while already. Several days ago, the handset made its appearance on FCC website with SM-A107F model number, revealing several key specifications. Now, a phone with the same model number was spotted on the Wi-Fi certification website.
The ‘DS’ on the handset’s model number stands for dual SI. In addition, the listing also shows that the phone will ship with Android 9.0 Pie and have support for single-band Wi-Fi frequency. That is all we got from this new listing.
According to previous leaks, the upcoming Galaxy A10s might feature a fingerprint reader mounted at the back which is something that is not in the Galaxy A10. It’s also said to pack a beefy 3,900 mAh battery, an audio jack, and dual cameras on the rear. Unfortunately, we don’t know the details of its camera setup, display size, storage, RAM, and the rest of the specs.
Since the phone has already visited 2 prominent authorities, it is likely that it will make its debut very soon. The Galaxy A10s should be the upgraded model of the Galaxy A10 that launched earlier in the year. The Galaxy A10 sports a 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch at the top. Powering the phone is an Exynos 7884 SoC, paired with 2GB RAM / 32GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot. In terms of camera, it features a single 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP selfie camera up front. It is fueled by a 3,400 mAh battery, ships with Android 9.0 Pie-based Samsung One UI. It is now up for sale for a starting price of Rs. 7,990.
