Redmi Note 9T is the latest addition to the already-crowded Redmi Note 9 lineup. As previously speculated, the device is a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 5G that was released in China in November last year. The two handsets feature a similar design, including a circular camera housing, a punch-hole display, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Redmi Note 9T specs consist of a Dimensity 800U chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, 6.53-inch Full-HD+ display, 5G connectivity, Android 10, and more. On a separate note, the brand has also introduced the Redmi 9T, which is Redmi 9 Power’s rebranded model at the same event.
Redmi Note 9T: Price & Availability
The Redmi Note 9T is retailed at €229 (around Rs. 20,500) in Europe for the entry-level option with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Meanwhile, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option is offered at €269 (around Rs 24,100). The device will go on sales from January 11 in Daybreak Purple and Nightfall Black color variants. Xiaomi also offers "early bird" prices of €199 and €249 for the two aforementioned options.
If the phone arrives in India, we believe that Xiaomi will offer a much more competitive pricing, so don’t be disappointed.
Redmi Note 9T: Specifications & Features
The handset is equipped with a 6.53” Full-HD+ display with a small punch-hole at the upper left corner. The screen is TUV TUV Rheinland-certified for the Blue Light filter. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 running on top.
Around the back, there is a triple-camera lens setup, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP camera for portrait shots. On the front, it sports a single 13MP camera for picturing selfies and video chats. The whole setup is fueled by a beefy 5,000mAh battery that supports charging at 18W.
