Xiaomi is expected to launch the next Redmi Note smartphones on March 12 in India, including the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. Based on the leaked information, the famous designer Benjamin Geskin has created a concept of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, thereby giving us a clearer view of the design of this phone before the official launch.
In the official promotional image, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 will be equipped with a quad-camera system on the back housed on a square module, that looks quite similar to that of the Huawei Mate 20. In addition, it also comes with a dual-LED flash placed below.
The handset in Benjamin Geskin's render doesn't have a fingerprint sensor on the back, instead, it seems to be integrated into the power button on the right side of the device. On the front, it has a punch-hole screen design with a cut-out in the top left corner to accommodate a single selfie camera.
A few days ago, 9TechEleven also shared an actual photo believed to be of the Note 9 Pro. Although it looks real, the caption that comes with the photo says it is just a concept model of this phone.
At the moment, Xiaomi has not disclosed any information regarding the specifications of the Redmi Note 9. However, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed it will launch the next generation of the Redmi Note series in India on March 12.
According to the report, the Note 9 Pro is said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G processor, has a 6.44-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD + resolution, comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports fast charging of 22.5W.
The phone will carry a quad-camera system on the back, including the Sony IMX686 64MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. In addition, it also has a 20MP camera placed in the cut-out on the front for selfies and video calling.
