Starting with the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, the handset is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, supports Full HD + resolution, and has a 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses a punch-hole design with a cut-out located in the middle to accommodate a 16MP selfie camera.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is the top-end model in the series, featuring a 108MP sensor and a 120Hz display.

On the inside, the device possesses the hardware power from the Snapdragon 750G processor, combined with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory, expandable with a microSD card. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with Android 10 operating system and MIUI 12 interface.

The most prominent highlight on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is the circular camera cluster on the back, including a 108MP ISOCELL HM2 main sensor from Samsung. The remaining three sensors in the rear camera include a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait photography.

Even though the Redmi Note 9 5G has a less impressive set of specs than the Pro model, it is still among the cheapest phones with 5G support.

The rear camera cluster of the Redmi Note 9 5G is also circular like the Pro version but is only equipped with 3 sensors - including a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera.

In terms of hardware configuration, the device uses MediaTek's Dimensity 800U processor. It has 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and is pre-installed with MIUI 12 interface based on Android 10.

The Redmi Note 9 5G comes with a larger 5,000mAh battery, but the fast charging capacity is only 18W (included with a 22.5W charger in the box). The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual speakers similar to the Pro version and supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC.

The device is equipped with a 6.53 inch LCD screen, Full HD + resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The camera cluster on the back of the device includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera.
