Redmi Note 8T is one of the three phones that has just been introduced at a launch event in Spain. The other two phones are the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro, which are international versions of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and CC9 Pro Premium Edition. The Mi Note 10 duo comes with a penta-rear camera setup that features a 108MP main sensor, a telephoto lens, a portrait lens, and an ultra-wide lens. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 8T arrives as a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 8 that already made its debut in India last month, but this device now has support for NFC.
Redmi Note 8T: Price
The Redmi Note 8T’s price is set at 199 Euro (roughly Rs. 15,600) for the single variant with 4GB RAM / 64GB storage. The device will hit the shelves from 8 November in Italy, 13 November in France, 15 November in Germany, while users in Belgium, Netherlands, the UK, and other markets will have to wait for a while.
It is offered in Stellar blue, Moon white, and Midnight gray hues.
Redmi Note 8T: Specifications
The Redmi Note 8T boasts a 6.39” InCell display with FHD+ resolution, a layer of Gorilla Glass 5, and 2.5D curved glass. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 665 SoC, aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable using a microSD card). It comes with Android 9 Pie pre-installed and Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 interface on top. The company offers two biometric authentication methods, which are a fingerprint reader at the back and Face Unlock feature.
For photography, the Redmi Note 8T is packed with four cameras at the back. They are a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP camera with an ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and a 2MP dedicated macro lens. Upfront, it has a 13MP shooter for taking selfies and video calling. Camera modes include AI portraits, filters, Night Mode, and more. Keeping the entire setup up and running is a beefy battery with 4,000 mAh capacity and 18W quick charging support. Connectivity options include NFC, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, USB-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
