Xiaomi has just announced that more than one million units of its new Redmi Note 8 & Note 8 Pro were sold in India in just a month. Both of them made their way to India last month with a quad rear camera cluster as the key highlight. While the Redmi Note 8 features a Snapdragon 665 chipset and a 48MP quad-camera setup, the Redmi Note 8 Pro rocks a 64MP quad rear camera cluster and an Helio G90T gaming chipset.

Redmi Note 8 & Redmi Note 8 Pro: Availability & Price in India
The price of the vanilla Redmi Note 8 is Rs. 9,999 for the entry-level variant with 4GB RAM / 64GB of storage. It goes up to Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage option. It is available in Neptune Blue, Space Black, and Moonlight White hues via Mi.com, Mi Home Store, and Amazon India.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro is retailed at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage model and 6GB of RAM / 128GB storage model, respectively. The top-end model with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 17,999. It comes in Gamma Green, Shadow Black, and Halo White colors. Users can grab one via Mi.com, Mi Home Store, and Amazon India. Both of them were up for sale in the country on 26 November.
Redmi Note 8 & Redmi Note 8 Pro: Features & Specifications
The vanilla Note 8 features a 6.39-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a water-drop notch. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 665 chipset with up to 6GB RAM / 128GB storage. For photography, it gets four rear cameras, one of which is a 48MP main sensor. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery that supports 18W quick charging solution.

As for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, it has a larger 6.53-inch FHD+ display. The phone draws power from an Helio G90T processor, aided by up to 8GB RAM / 128GB storage. In terms of camera, there is also a quad-camera cluster on the handset just like its sibling, though the main sensor carries 64MP resolution instead of 48MP. Its battery capacity is also larger, which is 4,500 mAh.
