Yesterday (October 27), Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi K30S - the latest smartphone in the K30 series, after the Redmi K30, K30i, K30 Pro, and K30 Ultra. It also beat iQOO Neo 3 as the most affordable Snapdragon 865 smartphone in China.
Redmi K30S: Price & Availability
The phone will be available for sale in China from October 11, with a starting price of 2,599 CNY (around Rs. 28,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Meanwhile, the 256GB storage version has a retail price of 2,799 CNY (around Rs. 30,700). The phone comes in two color options: Black and Silver.
Redmi K30S: Specifications & Features
The device has physical dimensions of 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.3mm and weighs 216 grams. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support, and a maximum brightness of 650 nits.
Moving to the back, the Redmi K30S is equipped with a triple-camera system placed in a rectangular module, including a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor with f / 1.89 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view, and a 5MP macro camera. In addition, the handset also has a 20MP camera placed in the front punch-hole for taking selfies and video calls.
Inside, the phone possesses the hardware power from Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 865 processor, combined with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging via a USB-C port. The device supports 2 SIMs, 5G / 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, dual speakers, and a fingerprint sensor integrated on the side.
