Redmi K30 Will Be World's First 5G Mid-Range Smartphone With Snapdragon 765G

The Redmi K30 is slated to arrive in China on 10 December and is confirmed to be the first 5G mid-range smartphone in the world with a Snapdragon 765G.

On December 10, Redmi will launch the mid-range smartphone Redmi K30. Yesterday, Redmi continued to reveal that Qualcomm's new 5G platform will be integrated into the Redmi K30. And today, Qualcomm officially confirmed that the Redmi K30 will be the first smartphone in the world equipped with Snapdragon 765G chipset and a built-in 5G modem.
The Snapdragon 765 processor was launched by Qualcomm along with the high-end Snapdragon 865 at an event on 4 December. While the Snapdragon 865 needs to come with the independent Snapdragon X55 5G modem, the Snapdragon 765 has a Snapdragon X52 modem built-in. The X52 modem chip supports dual-band SA / NSA and provides download speeds of up to 3.7Gbps.
The G in the Snapdragon 765G version means Gaming, improving graphics processing and gaming on the Redmi K30 smartphone. Currently, Qualcomm has not revealed the specifications of this Snapdragon 765 processor.
Redmi K30 5G version will be equipped with Snapdragon 765G chipset and is the first 5G mid-range smartphone in the world. Meanwhile, the Redmi K30 4G version will be equipped with Snapdragon 730 chipset. As for the Pro model, it is slated to go official early next year.
The Redmi K30 was revealed to feature four rear cameras, with a Sony main IMX686 64MP sensor, a 13MP telephoto camera, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there will be a dual selfie camera cluster housed in a pill-shaped cut-out, including 20MP + 2MP sensors. A recent poster revealed that the handset will be available in a Purple Jade color variant and a Red hue. On the front, it will reportedly pack a 6.67" display with a punch hole at the top.
It is just four days until its launch. We will get everything about the device. The handset is also expected to be announced alongside Redmi Speaker Play, Redmi router AC2100, & RedmiBook notebooks.
