The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition was launched earlier this year, but only recently has DxOMark evaluated the camera quality of the phone. According to DxOMark, the camera setup on the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is very good, scoring an overall score of 120 and ranking 10th in the DxOMark rankings, higher than both the Galaxy S20+ and iPhone 11 Pro.
Talking a little about its camera configuration, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is equipped with a quad-camera system placed inside a circular module on the back. This camera cluster includes a Quad Bayer 64MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photography.
According to DxOMark, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom has achieved an average score of 120, including 129 points for photo and 101 points for video. Speaking of taking photos, this phone is praised for its ability to achieve fast and accurate autofocus, as well as good exposure, zoom, and color reproduction.
However, tests conducted by DxOMark show that the photos taken by the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom have lower detail at long range. The device is capable of taking excellent portrait shots, but photos taken with the wide-angle camera lacks detail and noise. However, this phone still has excellent performance when taking photos outdoors, helping to increase the total score of the phone.
In terms of video recording, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is once again appreciated for its color reproduction, good image stabilization, quick focus, and accurate exposure. However, the video obtained still has noise and the level of detail is not really impressive.
Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition price: around Rs. 32,000
