The Redmi K30 Pro is slated to launch on 24 March in China. Ahead of the official launch, a new leak has just given us new details on the pricing of the handset.
Specifically, the source said that the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone will have two variants. In particular, the Redmi K30 Pro model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage will be sold for CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 39,900), while its Zoom variant will be sold for CNY 3,999 (around Rs.43,100).
According to the previous speculation, Redmi K30 Pro will launch two storage versions, including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. At the same time, the Zoom version will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants. This means that the price suggested by the new leak is not the starting price of these phones.
Redmi K30 Pro & K30 Pro Zoom Edition: Specifications
For now, we have known that both of the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC. They will also come with an OLED panel, which means we could expect to see an under-display fingerprint reader available on both of them. Recently, Xiaomi teases the presence of the pop-up selfie camera, which we might have thought to be replaced by the punch-hole display as the brand introduced it on the vanilla Redmi K30.
The upcoming phones will have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage onboard. In addition, the K30 Pro will be fueled by a 4,700 mAh battery, while the Zoom Edition’s battery capacity is still unknown. Both of them should support fast charging standard. In terms of camera, the K30 Pro is expected to come with a quad-rear camera setup with a Sony IMX686 main sensor. As for the Zoom Edition, the device should come with a telephoto lens as you can tell by its name. Connectivity-wise, the presence of the Snapdragon 865 SoC should suggest that they will have 5G connectivity apart from the GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. We should know everything about them from the official launch event tomorrow.
