Redmi K30 5G Launch Date Confirmed To Be 7th January

Redmi already announced its two smartphones in the new K series in China earlier this month. The lineup includes Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G. While the former is already up for sales and selling very well, the 5G-enabled version hasn’t been hit the market yet. Finally, Xiaomi’s sub-brand announced that users in China will be able to pre-order the Redmi K30 5G from 7 January.
Redmi K30 5G: Price
The handset will be available in a total of four memory configurations and three color variants - White, Purple, Blue, and Red. The Redmi K30 5G price is listed as follows:
- 6GB of RAM / 64GB of storage is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 20,400)
- 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 25,500)
- 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,599 (around Rs. 26,500)
- 8GB of RAM / 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 29,600).
For now, the Redmi K30 5G price in India is not available, but we will keep updated about that and the Redmi K30 launch date in India as well.
Redmi K30 5G: Specifications & Features
The Redmi K30 5G features a Snapdragon 765G SoC, that is integrated with a 5G modem for the next-generation connectivity. It’s the first Redmi phone to support the 5G network. The Redmi K30 5G is also the first one to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display and a dual selfie camera setup, including a 20MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The two selfie shooters are housed in a pill-shaped cut-out on the top-center of the 6.67-inch LCD display.
Around the back, it gets a quad-camera cluster, comprising of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens. The entire package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which can be fully refilled in 57 minutes by the 30W fast charging solution via a USB-C port. Connectivity options of the Redmi K30 5G include Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band A-GPS / GLONASS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Finally, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
