Redmi K30 5G Launch Date Confirmed To Be 7th January

The Redmi K30 5G launch date is finally announced to be 7 January and its price will start from Rs. 20,400.

Redmi already announced its two smartphones in the new K series in China earlier this month. The lineup includes Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G. While the former is already up for sales and selling very well, the 5G-enabled version hasn’t been hit the market yet. Finally, Xiaomi’s sub-brand announced that users in China will be able to pre-order the Redmi K30 5G from 7 January.

The handset will be available in a total of four memory configurations and three color variants - White, Purple, Blue, and Red. The Redmi K30 5G price is listed as follows:

8GB of RAM / 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 29,600).

The Redmi K30 5G features a Snapdragon 765G SoC, that is integrated with a 5G modem for the next-generation connectivity. It’s the first Redmi phone to support the 5G network. The Redmi K30 5G is also the first one to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display and a dual selfie camera setup, including a 20MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The two selfie shooters are housed in a pill-shaped cut-out on the top-center of the 6.67-inch LCD display.

Connectivity options of the Redmi K30 5G include Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band A-GPS / GLONASS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Finally, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
