Redmi K20 With Snapdragon 730 AnTuTu Benchmark Score Announced

Redmi India has just confirmed via its Twitter that it is going to launch a new smartphone with a Snapdragon 730 chipset. The brand has not mentioned the identity of this device yet, instead, it asked users to make a guess about the handset’s name. However, the phone that Redmi’s talking about should be the Redmi K20 which is slated to come to India next month with a Snapdragon 730 SoC and it is also the only Redmi device to feature a Snapdragon 730 chipset. In the Redmi tweet, there is also a photo that shows the Snapdragon 730 SoC with its AnTuTu benchmark score. The new chipset achieves 218,625 points and beats the Snapdragon 675 (180,808 points) and Snapdragon 710 (155,215 points) by a large margin.
As you may know, the Redmi K20 series already made its debut in China, including Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. The duo is expected to make their way to India sometime between 15 and 17 July. Let’s take a look at the expected price and specs of the Redmi K20 in India.
Redmi K20: Price in India
Usually, Redmi applies the same pricing on its smartphones in India as it does in China. So, going by the Chinese prices of the Redmi K20, it might be available in India for an Rs. 19,999 price tag for the entry-level option with 6GB RAM / 64GB storage and the price could go up to Rs. 21,999 for the option with 8GB RAM / 256GB storage.
With these prices, the upcoming Redmi K20 is expected to take on the likes of Oppo F11 Pro, Vivo V15, and Motorola One Vision. On paper, the Redmi K20 might have better specs compared to those competitors. Let’s check out its specs below.
Redmi K20: Specifications

The handset sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 730 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It boots Android 9 Pie out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 on top. For biometric security, it features an on-screen fingerprint scanner.

In terms of camera, there is a triple camera cluster at the back that has a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP telephotos lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it has a 20MP pop-up camera for selfies & video chats. Finally, fueling the entire setup is a beefy 4,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
