The Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition is an upgraded model of the Redmi K20 Pro with a more powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and up to 12GB of RAM.

Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition now goes official in the Chinese market. The phone arrives with several upgrades over the regular Redmi K20 Pro. It packs the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It is available in Carbon Black, Red, Blue, White, and a new Black color option that looks quite similar to the Redmi K20 Pro Avengers Edition. Other than that, the rest of the specs are the same as the standard model.

Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition: Price

The 8GB RAM / 128GB of storage variant is retailed at CNY 2,699 (around Rs. 27,100). The prices goes up to CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 30,100) and Rs. 3,199 (around Rs. 32,100) for the 8GB of RAM / 512GB of storage model and 12GB of RAM / 512GB of storage option, respectively. However, the top-end model’s price will be reduced to CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 30,000) until 23 September.

Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition: Specifications

The handset sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080p) resolution. The display is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Software-wise, it ships with Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box. As mentioned, it is driven by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Fueling the handset is a beefy 4,000 mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging solution. For security, it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

Camera-wise, there is a triple camera setup at the back of the phone, consisting of a 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide snapper, and an 8MP telephoto unit. The cameras are supported by PDAF, HDR, and 2x optical zoom. On the front, it has a 20MP pop-up camera for taking selfies and video calling. Other features include a headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
