Xiaomi is reportedly planning to launch a new budget phone dubbed Redmi 10X. Before we have any idea about when the handset will make its debut, the Redmi 10x specs and photos have been posted on a retailer website in China called Tianyi Telecommunications. The device seems to have a nearly-identical design to the Redmi Note 9 Pro & Pro Max that launched in India last month. The most significant difference between them is the placement of the punch-hole on the front. While the two recently-released Redmi Note 9 Pro phones have a center-aligned punch-hole, the one on the Redmi 10X is moved to the upper left corner. Moreover, the listing suggests that the handset could potentially be the first phone in the world to feature an Helio G85 SoC. Want to know the rest of the specs? Stay with us.
According to the listing on the e-commerce website, the Redmi 10X specs include a 6.53” TFT LCD panel that features FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080p) resolution and a punch-hole at the top left side for a selfie camera. Inside, it is said to carry the not-yet-announced Helio G85 SoC, which is believed to be an overclocked model of the Helio G80. The phone is listed with only one memory configuration that has 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. There could be more variants on the way, but we can’t be sure of that.
Moving to the back, the phone is said to feature a quad-camera cluster that consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP units. Housed inside the front punch-hole is a 13MP camera for selfies. Just like the Redmi Note 9 Pro & Pro Max, the Redmi 10X battery capacity is also said to be 5,020 mAh, but the listing doesn’t say whether it will come along with fast charging technology. Connectivity-wise, it will reportedly support Bluetooth, USB-C port, headphone jack, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE. The phone’s dimensions are 162.38 x 77.2 x 8.95mm and it weighs 205g.
