Realme already released its first 5G phone called Realme X50 in China early this month. There had been also several speculations about the Chinese brand launching the X50 Pro at the same time, but it didn’t happen. However, it seems the handset is indeed in the works and the brand is planning to release it soon. A fresh leak has just surfaced online, suggesting that a new Realme smartphone will come with powerful specifications. The handset is tipped to carry a Snapdragon 865 SoC and punch-hole display. With this configuration, it is highly likely the X50 Pro that we are waiting for.

Aside from this, the brand will also participate in the MWC 2020 event on 24 February and has confirmed that it will hold an event, in which it will release a new 5G phone. Again, that phone might be the X50 Pro we are talking about here.
Realme X50 Pro: Expected Specifications
The report is shared by a Chinese tipster ‘Digital Chat Station’ on his Weibo page. He has had a good track record regarding authentic leaks. According to his Weibo post, Realme is planning to unveil a new smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 SoC. In addition, the device could carry a punch-hole display with a single selfie camera housed on the cut-out. In comparison, the Realme X50 arrived with a dual selfie camera setup placed in a pill-shaped cut-out on the front.

Realme is also said to release Realme 5’s successor in the coming days. However, since the Realme 6 phones should be positioned in the mid-range segment, we doubt that the phone Digital Chat Station is talking about here belongs to the series.
Recently, a Realme smartphone with model number RMX2053 and RMX2052 was spotted on multiple certification websites. This phone is believed to be the X50 Pro, and since it has bagged many certifications, its launch should not be too far away.
