Realme has been teasing its forthcoming Realme X50 5G a lot recently. There are quite a few official teaser posters, revealing the whole design of the upcoming phone. In addition, it is also confirmed to carry a Snapdragon 765G chipset, two-day battery life, VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology, and a dual selfie camera setup. The handset is slated to be announced in China on 7th January.
That said, a quite credible post recently surfaced on Weibo shows a comparison between the Realme X50 5G and the newly-launched Oppo Reno 3. From that, we have got pretty much the full specs of the phone.
One of the key highlights of the phone should be the 120Hz display with a size of 6.67 inches. On top of the display, there is a pill-shaped cut-out housing a dual selfie camera setup as previously shown on the official renders. The setup will include an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and an 8MP Samsung GD1 sensor. Protecting the display and the rear panel will be a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. The handset will also come with a polycarbonate body, a metal frame, and P2i water resistance.
On the rear, its quad rear camera cluster will consist of a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid optical zoom, and a 2MP super macro camera. It will support EIS (Electronic image stabilization), not OIS.
Fueling the whole package is a 4,500 mAh battery, that can be charged with the 30W fast charging technology via a USB-C port. For audio, there will be a headphone jack and a single loudspeaker with Dolby Atmos. In addition, the X50 5G will support NFC and P2i water resistance. Connectivity options include 5G (N1 / N41 / N78 / N79), Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual-frequency GPS. For security, it will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor just like the Redmi K30.
The source also suggests the possible price of the Realme X50 5G. They are as follows:
6GB RAM + 128GB storage: RMB 2,199 (around Rs. 22,500)
8GB RAM + 128GB storage: RMB 2,499 (around Rs. 25,500)
8GB RAM + 256GB storage: RMB 2,799 (around Rs. 28,600).
