Realme will launch the Realme X50 5G on January 7 as Realme's first 5G smartphone. Although the company has revealed the rear design of the Realme X50 5G, today, the new live photo of the phone gives us a better look at its design. In addition, the Realme X50 5G is also certified at the Chinese 3C agency, revealing the fast charging rate of the device. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any leak regarding the Realme X50 5G price in India and China. However, judging from the massive amount of leaks and teasers about the phone in the last couple of days, I believe we might get new information in the next few days.
These are live photos of the Realme X50 Polar White color version. You can see that the left side of the device houses two volume buttons. Meanwhile, the top left corner of the rear panel has a vertically-stacked quad-camera lens setup and an LED flash located on the right of the camera cluster.
Although the right edge is not shown in this image, previous renders revealed that the Realme X50 will have a fingerprint sensor on the side, which should be mounted on the power button.
A new Realme smartphone with model numbers, RMX2051 and RMX2025, has been certified on China’s 3C. It is a 5G smartphone, so it might be the upcoming Realme X50 5G. The 3C certification reveals the device will support 30W fast charging.
In addition, Realme recently said that the Realme X50 5G will support its advanced VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology. With improved charging capabilities, the Realme X50 will be able to charge up to 70% of the battery capacity in just 30 minutes. Combined with the two-day battery life that was teased yesterday, this upcoming phone will be a force to be reckoned with in the mid-range smartphone market.
In terms of hardware configuration, the Realme X50 is believed to have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a pill-shaped cut-out to accommodate the dual selfie camera. Realme will use a Snapdragon 765G chipset on the phone that supports 5G with two modes: SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone). For photography, it will reportedly have four rear cameras, one of which is a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor. On the front, its dual selfie camera is tipped to consist of 32 MP + 8 MP cameras.
The Redmi K30 5G will soon be launched in China as the cheapest 5G phone with a price of CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 20,400). The Realme X50 5G will likely be a direct competitor to the Redmi counterpart, so the two’s prices should not be too far off of each other. Sadly, we haven't heard anything about the Realme X50 5G launch date and price in India, but we will update as soon as we can pick up any new details about it.
