Realme X2 With 64MP Quad Rear Cameras & Snapdragon 730G Launched

Realme X2 arrives as one of the first phones to come with a 64MP sensor and it also features a quad rear camera setup and a Snapdragon 730G SoC.

Realme X2 has been officially announced in China. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9 percent and is driven by a Snapdragon 730G chipset and up to 8GB of RAM. In terms of camera, there is a quad-camera system at the back panel with a 64MP main sensor with Expert mode and Super Nightscape. Notably, the setup includes a 64MP GW sensor alongside 2MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. It arrives as the second phone from Realme to feature with a 64MP sensor. Previously, the Realme XT was already announced in India as the first 64MP camera smartphone.

Realme X2: Price
The phone’s price in China is CNY 1,599 (roughly 15,800) for the option with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The model with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 18,800). The handset is available in Pearl Blue and Pearl White color variants.
Realme X2: Specifications
The Realme X2 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a dewdrop notch to house a selfie camera. The display is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. As mentioned, powering the phone is a Snapdragon 730G chipset, paired with an Adreno 618 GPU. The handset is offered in two memory configurations - 6GB RAM / 64GB storage and 8GB RAM / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Users can also expand its storage up to 256GB using a microSD card slot. Software-wise, it ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS 6.0 on top.

On the imaging front, the Realme X2 is equipped with a quad-camera system, including a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. Users can take selfies and video chats with a 32MP shooter on the front. Users can unlock the handset using an on-screen fingerprint scanner. Finally, the 4,000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging solution wraps up the specs list.
