Realme X2 Pro is the first flagship device from the former Oppo’s sub-brand Realme. The handset was first launched in China in October and finally makes its way to India this month. It arrives with a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, up to 12GB RAM, quad rear camera cluster with a 64MP main sensor, and a Super AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also supports 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge tech, which is the first in the market. Moreover, it is also included with a 50W adapter.
Realme X2 Pro: Price
The price of the Realme X2 Pro in India is Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB of RAM / 128GB storage model. If you want to get the 12GB of RAM variant, you will have to pay Rs. 33,999. Lunar White and Neptune Blue are two color options available for the device. It is up for sale from today via Realme.com and Flipkart, and it will end at 11:59 p.m on 27 November. However, this sale is invite-only.
Realme offers Master Edition models in Brick Red & Concrete hues with the signature of industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa on its rear panel. This edition will pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is priced at Rs. 34,999.
Realme X2 Pro: Features & Specifications
The Realme X2 Pro flaunts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, 1000nits brightness, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display also features an in-display fingerprint reader for security and a water-drop notch at the top to house a selfie snapper. Other notable features of its screen include DC Dimming, HDR10+ support, and TÜV Rheinland certification for ambient light management, EyeCare tech, and image quality.
Under the hood, it draws power from the powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The top-end variant of the phone will feature 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, which is claimed to further increase its performance. Not just that, the device is also backed by several gaming modes like Photorealistic Enhancement to improve texture, color, and quality of in-game graphics as well as sharpen the edges of the objects. Other gaming features include 4x4 MIMO, anti-lock gaming antenna, dual-channel network acceleration, dual-Wi-Fi speed-up, Game Assistant, and Hyper Boost 2.0. Users will not have to worry much about the device’s temperature in intense gaming sessions with the Vapur Cooling technology with the superconducting carbon fiber, which is claimed to lower its temperature by up to 5%.
For photography, its quad rear camera cluster includes a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera is paired with a 13MP telephoto camera with 20x hybrid zoom, a 2M depth-sensing camera for portrait shots, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view. Users can record 960fps slow-mo and 4K 60fps videos. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture to take selfies and video chats. Camera features consist of Ultra Video Stabilization, real-time video bokeh, Nightscape, ultra-wide-angle videos, and 960fps super slow-mo vides.
Fueling the phone is a massive 5,000 mAh battery cell that supports the 50W SuperVOOC quick charging solution, which is currently the highest in any smartphone available in India. The technology is said to allow the device to quickly charge from 0 to 100% in just 32 minutes. Connectivity features on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, USB-C port, a headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0.
