Realme To Unveil Realme X In India With Spider-Man: Far From Home-Themed Case

Realme will introduce its Realme X in India in the second haft of this year. Although the brand has not revealed the official launch date of the phone, a new report states that the phone will be unveiled in India in the middle of July with a case that is dedicated to the Spider-Man: Far From Home movie. It’s not clear if the special Spider-Man: Far From Home-themed case will be released with the phone or separately sold.

Particularly, rumor has it that the Realme X will debut on 17 July. While the brand has not revealed anything, it has teased a new smartphone in the Indian market with a quad rear camera setup including a 64MP lens. The phone is tipped to be the Realme X Pro which will be unveiled with the base Realme X in the market.

To recall, the Realme X is the first phone from the company to have a 48MP sensor with bezel-less design and no notch. The handset features a pop-up selfie camera and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The Realme X sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the screen-to-body ratio of 91.2%. Under the hood, it comes with a Snapdragon 710 octa-core SoC and runs Android 9.0 Pie-based Color OS 6.0 at launch. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP sensor on the back. In addition, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 front-facing sensor for taking selfies.

The phone is backed with a 3,765mAh battery with the 20W fast charging solution. Other connectivity options include A-GPS, USB-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, Wifi, dual-SIM, and 4G LTE.
It is known that the phone is available in China with three memory variants. Accordingly, the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,300) while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs CNY1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,400) and the top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available for CNY1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,400).
