Realme To Launch New Variant Of Realme X2 Pro At A Cheaper Price

The Realme X2 Pro is the first Realme’s flagship and it was announced in India in November. It is currently up for sale in two memory configurations - 8GB RAM / 128GB storage retailed at Rs. 29,999 and 12GB RAM / 256GB RAM priced at Rs. 33,999. Now, Realme India’s CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed that the brand is going to offer a new variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the Indian market.
Sheth didn’t say the exact launch date of the 6GB variant in the country, but he did say that the model will be priced at Rs. 27,999. It is a great deal considering what the Realme X2 Pro offers. The handset is packed with the powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, massive 50W fast charging technology, and a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. Not just that, the display also has a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is the same as the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro. It also has an under-display fingerprint sensor for security.
The Realme X2 Pro: Specifications & Features
As mentioned, the phone is equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is driven by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, and up to 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. The 64GB model will have UFS 2.1 storage whereas the 128GB and 256GB models feature UFS 3.0 storage. For biometric security, it boasts an in-display fingerprint reader. Software-wise, it ships with Android 9 Pie and ColorOS 6 out of the box, but it is already planned to get upgrades to Android 10 in the near future.
In terms of camera, it gets a 16MP selfie shooter on the front for selfies. At the back, it rocks four cameras, which comprises of a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Under the hood, Realme packs a 4,000 mAh battery, which is pretty decent in its price range. The more impressive thing about the phone is its 50W SuperVOOC quick charging technology, which is claimed to juice up the device’s 4,000mAb battery cell from 0 to 100 percent in just 30 minutes.
