Realme Q2 Launching In India Soon As It Bags BIS Certification

Realme Q2 has just received BIS certification with the model numbeR RMX2117, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. While the certification doesn’t give us many new details about the smartphone, it does suggest that the handset could make its debut in India soon. Previously, the device was released alongside the Realme Q2 Pro in China in October. The Realme Q2 specs include Dimensity 800U chipset, 120Hz display, 48MP triple rear cameras, 5G network, and 5,000 mAh battery.

Realme Q2: Price in India (expected)
The Realme Q2 price in India is unavailable at the moment, but the India pricing of the phone should be at the same level as in China. . In China, the device is priced at CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 14,200) for the entry-level option with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile, its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is retailed at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 15,400).
Realme Q2: Specifications & Features
The handset sports a 6.5-inch LCD panel with Full-hD+ (1,080 x 2,400p resolution), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the phone is a Dimensity 800U chipset, aided by 4 / 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It boots Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box to take care of the software side of things. Connectivity features of this phone include 4G VoLTE, 5G (SA/NSA), Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB-C port, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.

In terms of cameras, the device is equipped with triple cameras at the back, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 119-degree viewing angle, and a 2MP lens for macro shots. On the front, it gets a 16MP camera for picturing selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the device is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at up to 30W.
