Early this month, Realme released its most affordable 5G smartphone called Realme X7 5G in India. The device was a rebranded model of the Realme V15 5G that debuted in China last month. With a price of Rs. 19,999, it is no doubt that the Realme X7 5G is currently the cheapest 5G phone in India.
However, it seems like Realme doesn’t stop there as Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth asked his followers in a recent tweet, “Should we make 5G smartphones even more economical?”. That could be a hint at an even more affordable 5G smartphone than the Realme X7 5G. We have recently heard quite a few details about the Narzo 30 series, so it could be the one that will dethrone the X7 5G and become the most affordable 5G phone in the Indian market.
Realme has also started teasing the arrival of the Realme Narzo 30 series, which is tipped to come in three models, including Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, and Narzo 30 Pro. Out of the three, the Pro model is said to be the only one that will support 5G connectivity.
Previously, a Realme smartphone was approved by China’s TENAA with model number RMX3161. The device was listed with a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole cut-out, a triple-camera lens setup, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 4,880 mAh battery, and Android 11.
For now, we have no information regarding the Narzo 30 series launch date. However, since the brand has recently released the 5G-ready Realme X7 series, the arrival of the Narzo 30 could affect their sales. Therefore, we might have to wait for a while for the lineup. To recall, both the Narzo and Narzo 10 product lines were released in the second quarter, so there is a good chance that the Chinese phone maker could introduce the Narzo 30 series in the same time frame.
