1. Realme Background Information
Chinese phone maker Realme is the former Oppo’s sub-brand and it is based on Shenzhen China. The company was first established on 4 May 2018 which is the National Youth Day in the country. Despite being a Chinese brand, Real me is mostly known for one of the most popular phone makers in India.
Realme India has been very successful in the country with some notable Realme mobiles phones like Realme 3 Pro and more. It only needed 7 months for the company to reach the 3rd spot in the Indian mobile phone market.
Sky Li and other people were the first members of the brand. Its first appearance was in 2010 in China under the name ‘Oppo Real’. Now, it is ranked 6th in the Indian market which is very great for a one-year-old brand. As mentioned, it was first established as a sub-brand of the Chinese giant Oppo but Realme went independent from Oppo later in 2018.
On 30 July 2018, former VP of Oppo and also head of the company’s overseas business department Sky Li said that he would resign from the brand and he wanted to make the brand independent from Oppo. He also said on Weibo that he wanted to focus on offering Realme mobile phones that come with stylish design and great performance. On 15 November 2018, the company introduced a new logo for its brand.

2.1 Realme 2 Pro
This is one of the most popular Realme phones in the country. It comes in four color variants and three memory configurations. The 4GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 13,990 while the other two variants with 6GB and 8GB RAM are priced at Rs. 15,990 and Rs 17,990, respectively.

The phone comes with a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a dewdrop at the top. Powering the handset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage which is user expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
On the camera front, there is a 16MP camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling. The Realme 3 Pro is a decent upgrade over the Realme 2 Pro in terms of chipset and battery. As for other aspects like camera or RAM and memory, the two share quite a lot of similarities.
In terms of hardware specifications, it runs on a mid-range Snapdragon 710 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Handling selfie duties is a 16MP front-facing camera. The Realme company equips the phone with a 6.1-inch HD panel with a dewdrop notch on top. Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset built on the 12nm process. As for software, it boots Android 9.0 Pie with Color OS 6.0 on top. The UI on the handset is claimed to be ad-free.
